Defensive Handgun Fundamentals – Course Description

Designed to assist the individual to learn and make decisions about their own personal defense needs, this course provides the opportunity for new or potential gun owners to learn more about handguns and to provide options for the next steps in purchasing or training with a handgun.

This 2 hour course covers the fundamentals of firearms safety, equipment, ammunition, and gun handling. The classroom-based course provides students with the opportunity to become familiar with the operation and handling of a semi-automatic handgun prior to attending a Defensive Handgun course. Includes introductory gun handling using an Airsoft Semi-Automatic pistol which is provided for your use at no extra cost.
